Dear Foundation Supporters,
As the Women’s Chamber Foundation's new fiscal year begins, it is time to start fundraising for our one purpose – raise money for College Scholarships for women in Palm Beach County. We are in the process of scheduling our Lunch & Learn Programs, our Holiday Luncheon and Silent Auction, our 4th Annual Tea, and then the 2012 Scholarship Luncheon and Silent Auction. If you are interested on serving on any of these Committees, please call me at 561-296-4465 (my business phone number). The WCF is currently looking for new committee members with fresh ideas on how to raise money for scholarships.
We have a fundraising activity that DOES NOT cost you anything! It is when you use www.goodsearch.com which is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to registered charities. Its sister site, www.goodshop.com, is an online shopping mall which donates up to 37% of each purchase to charities. The Women's Chamber Foundation is listed as "Women's Chamber of Commerce - Palm Beach County - PBC (West Palm Beach)". Start searching and shopping now...every penny raised goes towards our Scholarship Program!
As I start my second year as Chair of the Women’s Chamber Foundation, I look forward to a successful and very busy year. Again, I ask all of you to join in the efforts of the WCF Board of Directors and help us raise money so give to the women of our county and help them further their education.
